Complaints
We get facts right, and when we do not, we say so plainly. This page covers complaints about our coverage more broadly.
How to complain
Send your complaint through the contact channel listed on our Contact page. Please include the article URL, what is wrong, and, where you can, the information or source that supports your complaint.
What happens next
If a reader reports a problem, we acknowledge it and investigate. Corrections are appended at the foot of the article, dated, describing what changed and why. Corrections are never made silently. A factual change after publication always carries a dated note. Substantial errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed; minor errors (spelling, style) are corrected with a dated note where they affect meaning.
Factual errors
If your complaint is about a factual error, you can also report it directly under our Corrections policy. Both routes reach the publication and are handled the same way.
